About Me
Therapeutic Approach
I utilize a client-centered, solution focused approach as well as motivational interviewing techniques and cognitive behavioral therapy. I am also interested in learning from you and your experiences and adapting my practice to meet your needs.
My Story
I am a registered clinical social worker with the BC College of Social Work. I completed my masters at the University of Maryland School of Social Work in Baltimore. Following my degree I worked for four years at Johns Hopkins Hospital before relocating to Vancouver BC and beginning work with Vancouver Coastal Health.
I have focused my practice on people impacted by chronic and terminal illnesses, coping with grief, loss and trauma, as well as helping people navigate relationships and manage depression and anxiety.
